CloudLogOffline serves as an application interface for Cloudlog, the cloud logbook tailored for amateur radio operators (OMs and YLs), developed by 2M0SQL and others.
The primary function of CloudLogOffline is to facilitate portable operations in environments lacking Wifi or 3G/LTE connectivity, such as SOTA (Summits on the Air), IOTA (Islands on the Air), WWFF (Worldwide Flora and Fauna), POTA (Parks on the Air), and COTA (Castles on the Air). The application enables users to record logs locally, which can later be uploaded to a self-hosted Cloudlog instance once an internet connection is reestablished.
Currently, CloudLogOffline offers the following features:
- Upload capabilities to Cloudlog via API
- QRZ.com query feature (available when 3G/LTE is accessible)
- Connection support for Flrig by W1HKJ, compatible with devices such as Raspberry Pi that interface with radios and establish a Wifi connection to CloudLogOffline
- Option to set a CQ QRG when Flrig is not available
- Support for live and post QSOs
- Additional functionalities to enhance user experience
